About the Library
Located at 397 Highway 51, the Ridgeland Public Library has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The library staff is friendly, polite, and ready to serve anyone who comes through the door. Believing that our patrons are the reason our library exists, the Ridgeland staff provides quality services in a fair and accommodating manner. The library plays an important role in promoting early literacy by offering story times to children and outreach to parents, caregivers, and teachers. As a free place, open to all, the library’s diverse programs encourage reading, inspire lifetime learning, and support all age groups of the Ridgeland community, from the young to the young at heart. The library offers public access to computers, the Internet, WiFi, scanning and fax services, and free computer instructional classes. Through the eLibrary services, one can download free eBooks, Audiobooks, and online magazines. The Ridgeland Public Library strives to be a community hub and a valuable landmark for families and visitors of the Ridgeland community.
